Newark Mayor Cory Booker is no stranger to doing things like running into burning buildings to save people and shoveling his constituents’ driveways. So it’s not surprising that he spent the morning after Hurricane Sandy helping citizens of Newark escape from things in which they were trapped. Holy crap.

If your mayor ever gets trapped in a burning building, he or she better hope and pray that Supermayor Cory Booker is around to save them.

How long until “Bookering” becomes a word we use to describe public officials who put themselves in physical danger in order to help others?
